धारा 19 — भरणपोषण का भुगतान न करने पर कारावास का वारंट

(नाम, वर्णन और पता) मेरे समक्ष अपनी पत्नी/बालक/माता-पिता का, जो स्वयं का भरणपोषण करने में असमर्थ है, भरणपोषण करने के पर्याप्त साधन रखने वाला साबित हुआ है, और उसे प्रतिमास ............... रुपए भरणपोषण के रूप में भुगतान करने का आदेश दिया गया था, और वह उक्त आदेश की जानबूझकर अवहेलना करते हुए, ............... रुपए, जो ............... मास/मासों के भत्ते की देय राशि है, भुगतान करने में असफल रहा है;

आपको एतद्द्वारा प्राधिकृत और अपेक्षित किया जाता है कि आप उक्त ............... को अपनी अभिरक्षा में प्राप्त करें, और उसे ............... अवधि के लिए, या भुगतान होने तक, इनमें से जो भी पहले हो, उक्त कारागार में सुरक्षित रूप से रखें।

आप इस वारंट को, उसके निष्पादन की रीति प्रमाणित करने वाले पृष्ठांकन सहित, वापस करेंगे।

Section 19 — Warrant of Imprisonment on Failure to Pay Maintenance (English)

This is to authorise and require you to receive the said...................into your custody, and him safely to keep in the said Jail for the period of................, or until payment is made, whichever is earlier.
