धारा 322 — पक्षकार साक्षियों की परीक्षा कर सकेंगे

322. (1) इस अध्याय के अधीन किसी कार्यवाही के पक्षकार, कमीशन निदेशित करने वाले न्यायालय या मजिस्ट्रेट के माध्यम से, ऐसे लिखित प्रतिप्रश्न भेज सकते हैं जिन्हें वह विवाद्यक से सुसंगत समझे, और मजिस्ट्रेट, न्यायालय या अधिकारी, जो कमीशन का निष्पादन करता है, ऐसे प्रतिप्रश्नों पर साक्षी की परीक्षा कर सकता है।

(2) कोई भी ऐसा पक्षकार ऐसे मजिस्ट्रेट, न्यायालय या अधिकारी के समक्ष अधिवक्ता द्वारा, या, यदि वह अभिरक्षा में नहीं है, तो स्वयं भी, हाजिर हो सकता है, और उक्त साक्षी की परीक्षा, प्रतिपरीक्षा और पुनःपरीक्षा कर सकता है।

Section 322 — Parties may examine witnesses (English)

322. (1) The parties to any proceeding under this Chapter may respectively forward any interrogatories in writing which the Court or Magistrate directing the commission may think relevant to the issue, and the Magistrate, Court or officer executing the commission may examine the witness upon such interrogatories.

(2) Any such party may appear before such Magistrate, Court or Officer by an advocate, or if not in custody, in person, and may examine, cross-examine and re-examine the said witness.
