135. किसी व्यक्ति को सदोष परिरुद्ध करने के प्रयत्न में हमला या आपराधिक बल (Assault or criminal force in attempt to wrongfully confine a person)

जो कोई किसी व्यक्ति के प्रति, उस व्यक्ति को सदोष परिरुद्ध करने के प्रयत्न में हमला करता है या आपराधिक बल का प्रयोग करता है, वह ऐसे किसी भी भाँति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि एक वर्ष तक हो सकेगी, या जुर्माने से, जो पाँच हज़ार रुपये तक हो सकेगा, या दोनों से, दंडित किया जाएगा।

Whoever assaults or uses criminal force to any person, in attempting wrongfully to confine that person, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, or with both.
