धारा 154 — जिस व्यक्ति को आदेश संबोधित है उसका पालन करना या कारण दर्शित करना

154. वह व्यक्ति, जिसके विरुद्ध ऐसा आदेश किया गया है,-

(क) आदेश द्वारा निदिष्ट समय के भीतर और रीति से, उससे निदिष्ट कार्य करेगा; या

(ख) ऐसे आदेश के अनुसार उपस्थित होगा और उसके विरुद्ध कारण दर्शित करेगा; और ऐसी उपस्थिति या सुनवाई श्रव्य-दृश्य सम्मेलन के माध्यम से अनुज्ञात की जा सकती है।

Section 154 — Person to whom order is addressed to obey or show cause (English)

154. The person against whom such order is made shall-

(a) perform, within the time and in the manner specified in the order, the act directed thereby; or

(b) appear in accordance with such order and show cause against the same; and such appearance or hearing may be permitted through audio-video conferencing.
