Classification

4. Classification of Civil Services. - The Civil Services of the State shall be classified as follows;-

(i) Group-A

(ii) Group-B

(iii) Group-C

(iv) Group-D

5. Constitution of Civil Services. - The Civil Services of the State shall be constituted into Group-A, Group-B, Group-C and Group-D by a general or special order of the Government. 6. Classification of posts. - All the civil posts under the State shall, by a general or special order of the Government, be classified as follows:-

(i) Group-A

(ii) Group-B

(iii) Group-C

(iv) Group-D

Explanation - All references to Civil Services/Civil Posts of Group-A, Group-B, Group-C and Group-D in all Rules, Orders, Schedules, Notifications, Regulations, Instructions and Directions in force, immediately before the commencement of these Rules shall be construed as references to Civil Services/Civil posts, Group-A, Group-B, Group-C and Group-D respectively.
