धारा 12 — संदिग्ध निक्षेप-स्थान की तलाशी हेतु वारंट

चूंकि मेरे समक्ष यह सूचना दी गई है कि ............... (नाम और पता) का गृह (या अन्य स्थान) चुराई हुई संपत्ति के निक्षेप (या विक्रय) के लिए, या धारा 97 में निर्दिष्ट किसी आपत्तिजनक वस्तु के निक्षेप, विक्रय या उत्पादन के लिए उपयोग में लाया जाता है;

आपको एतद्द्वारा प्राधिकृत और अपेक्षित किया जाता है कि आप उक्त गृह (या अन्य स्थान) में, ऐसी सहायता के साथ जो अपेक्षित हो, प्रवेश करें, और इस प्रयोजन के लिए आवश्यक होने पर युक्तियुक्त बल का प्रयोग करें, तथा उक्त गृह (या स्थान) के प्रत्येक उस भाग की तलाशी लें जहां आपको उक्त संपत्ति या वस्तु के निक्षिप्त होने का संदेह करने का कारण हो, और उसे, वहां पाए गए किन्हीं दस्तावेजों, स्टाम्पों, मुद्राओं, सिक्कों, अश्लील वस्तुओं, या कूटरचित दस्तावेजों या जाली करेंसी के निर्माण में उपयोग की जाने वाली सामग्री या उपकरणों सहित, अभिगृहीत करें।

आप इस वारंट को, इसके अधीन की गई कार्रवाई के प्रमाणीकरण सहित पृष्ठांकन के साथ, वापस करेंगे, और अभिगृहीत संपत्ति या वस्तुओं को इस न्यायालय के समक्ष प्रस्तुत करेंगे।

Section 12 — Warrant to Search Suspected Place of Deposit (English)

WHEREAS information has been laid before me that the house (or other place) of................(name and address) is used as a place for the deposit (or sale) of stolen property, or for the deposit, sale or production of any objectionable article referred to in section 97;

This is to authorise and require you to enter the said house (or other place) with such assistance as shall be required, and to use, if necessary, reasonable force for that purpose, and to search every part of the said house (or place) in which you shall have reason to suspect that the said property or article is deposited, and to seize the same, together with any documents, stamps, seals, coins, obscene objects, or materials or instruments used for the manufacture of forged documents or counterfeit currency found therein.

You shall return this warrant, with an endorsement certifying what action has been taken thereunder, and shall produce the property or articles seized before this Court.
