47. कोई व्यक्ति, जो इस संहिता के अर्थ के अन्तर्गत किसी अपराध का दुष्प्रेरण करता है. जो भारत से बाहर और उससे परे रहकर किसी ऐसे कार्य के किए जाने का भारत में दुष्प्रेरण करता है जो अपराध होगा, यदि भारत में किया जाए।

क भारत में ख को, जो भ देश में विदेशीय है, उस देश में हत्या करने के लिए उकसाता है। क हत्या के दुष्प्रेरण का दोषी है।
47. A person abets an offence within the meaning of this Sanhita who, in India, abets the commission of any act without and beyond India which would constitute an offence if committed in India.
